lecture on Functional Lliteracy.
On the occasion of vocational month, the speech was organised on Functional Literacy by PP Rtn Dr Girish Kumthekar. He spoke about the capacity of a person to engage in all those activities in which literacy is required for effective function of his or her group and community and also for enabling him or her to continue to use reading, writing and calculation for his or her own and the communitys development. He explained how functional literacy is helpful in achieving the goals of Rotary Club.
