Rotary Club of Calcutta Empathy organized a Free Health Checkup including Blood Pressure Blood Sugar & BMI at New Town on 9 Feb 2024. Due to sedentary lifestyle of a major portion of the urban population, there is a increaisng trend of lifestyle diseases which starts off from high Blood Pressure Blood Sugar . They are the primary markers which shows the initiation of other lifestyle diseases . Hence, our club felt the need for such tests amongst the high risk groups esp. IT sector employees of New Town .
