Supporting Poor Visually impaired Judo Champs
Under the aegis of RI District 3150 an initiative supported by our District Governor Rtn Shankar Reddy Busireddy has gained momentum in just a weeks time to support and sponsor 25 visually impaired young boys and girls who are representing our Telangana State in a National Level Para Judo Championship being held at Amritsar, Punjab from 26th November 2023 to 30th November 2023. As part of this initiative proposed by Rtn Nidhi Anand of RC Midtown and sponsored by a few other Rotary Clubs like Rotary Clubs of Kokapet Ekam, Global Wizards, Hyderabad Legends, Miyapur, Tadepalli, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, Megacity Hyderabad, Hyderabad Central, Inner Wheel etc and a few individual Rotarians Rtn Dayanand Gauri, Rtn Ms Nargis Khan, Ms Kaisar Jameel, Ms Poonam Sood (Karishma Art Gallery) etc. A total of Rs 1 lakh has been paid into the association account to pay for T-Shirts, Track Pants, Shoes, To & Fro Train Tickets, Accommodation, food and nutrient supplements on 20th November 2023 at the Judo Sports Complex Bahadurpura at 5pm. This event has been attended by District Dignitaries, Rotarians from the Sponsoring Clubs and several others who take pride in supporting these young children who are on their journey to Amritsar, Punjab to bring laurels to our State.
